The TatoMotorSports Team battled against all of the strongest teams in North America to try to qualify for the X-Games. A rock destroyed the front suspension and the teams hopes of contesting the X-Games event. But the team was able to finish in a strong Eight Position and earned valuable Championship points.
4-29-06 Champagne at TatoMotorSports Home Event
The TatoMotorSports U.S. Rally Team is off to a strong start to the United States Rally Championship Series with a 3rd place over all finish at the Rim of the World Rally in Palmdale California. Located just miles from the Team's headquarters, a strong result at "the Rim" is always an expectation for this team.
2-27-05 A Start start to the 2006 Season
With an impressive showing at an the 100 Acre Woods event for the TatoMotorsports U.S. Rally Team, the start to the 2006 Season is underway. This is the first time that TatoMotorSports Team has attempted this event, so a 7th Overall result is an impressive start for the team.
9-17-05 Teams' First taste of champagne in 2005 in Open class Win
The team drove to a very impressive First in Class, Seventh Overall finish during their first attempt at the Colorado Cog Rally held on the fast and dangerous roads around the Ski resorts of Steamboat Springs Colorado.
6-22-05 Success at Pikes Peak Hill Climb
After a disappointing start to the Season, the Team was able to overcome nearly terminal technical problems to finish in a strong seventh overall, 3rd in open class at the second oldest race in North America.
5-7-05 Second retirement in Two events
Hard Luck continues to follow the Team as they had to pull over with less then two miles to the completion of a stage due to a fuel failure. While running in a very strong 6th overall, 3rd in Open class in an event that is considered the Team's home event. The Rim of the World Rally in Palmdale California.
4-12-05 A Difficult start to the 2005 Season for the boys
With the overall lead after the First Leg of the Oregon Trails Rally, the TatoMotorsports U.S. Rally Team was forced to retire due to a mechanical failure.
2-7-05 New Season on the Horizon
With the start of the 2005 season just days away, teh Team is getting ready for what looks to be yet another strong field in both the Rally American Championship Series and the NASA U.S. Championship Series. The team will be running a revised schedule allowing for more regional events.
12-17-04 The Team finishes Off the 2004 Season on the Podium
Dispite using a gear box that was designed for slower conditions, and running with a failed wastegate on the turbo housing, the TatoMotorsports U.S. Rally Team was able to hold off the hard charging Stephan Vardier to finish on the Podium at the Ramada Express International Rally.
Similar to their DNF at the Rim of the World Rally, the TatoMotorSports U.S. Rally Team retired on day 2 of the Prescott Forest Rally due to a failed suspension part. The part in question failed after taking a hard hit on the previous stage and a hard landing on stage 2 of leg 2 led to the final failure. The team was able to make roadside repairs and limp the car to the finish of the stage. But they were time barred before being able to reach the finish. The team will now prepare for their last event of the season, the Ramada Express Internation Rally.
A start to finish lead gave the Team something to celebrate after a tough open to the 2004 season. The Gorman Rally was dominated by the TatoMortorSport team. Co-Driving responseibilities feel on former Team co-driver Alex Gelsimino as Jeff Burmeister was unable to attend.
The TatoMotorSports US Rally Team was dealt another blow during the last stage of the Rim of the World Rally. Suffering from massive front end damage when the car struck a rock on the last stage of Leg 1. The team was forced to retire when roadside repairs were not enough to get the car to limp through the remaining stage.
After completing the first stage of the Oregon Trails ProRally with a top 5 result. The TatoMotorsports U.S. Rally Team was forced to retire after the car failed to produce any oil pressure. But with only two weeks time until the next events, the Rim of the World ProRally held in Palmdale California, the Team will be working late into the night trying to build a new engine for this event.
The TatoMotorsports U.S. Rally Team will see their first action tonight as they take the starting line under the lights at the Oregon Trails ProRally who's start is held at the Portland Oregon International Speedway.

The Team's cars are currently undergoing their off season rebuilds, so we are looking at a new designs for our Team's visual presentation. Click here to see what some of the initial designs are like for the 2004 season.
